They are everywhere here: beach and boulevard, backyard and city square.
I am not exactly sure why I like them so much: maybe because I find them so exotic, or maybe because they look so good against the very blue sky. Or maybe because they are tall and proud -- and a little scruffy -- just like the local people.
But they give me butterflies in my stomach and make me happy each time I see them.
It was love from the first sight. I can only hope it's mutual.
